** Who is your LGBTQ Hometown Hero?

Do you know an LGBTQ person who has made a difference in their community in the past year? Someone who is inspiring you to do better? A friend or neighbor who is changing the world?

Our annual awards program, LGBTQ Nation Heroes ([link removed]) , honors LGBTQ people and close allies who made us proud with their good work this past year. And while voting is now open ([link removed]) in eight categories filled with inspiring nominees picked by our editors, we need your help uncovering the amazing people we don't yet know about.

Nominate a Hometown Hero in your life by filling out this short form ([link removed]) [link removed] September 15. Then be sure to vote in the other Heroes categories ([link removed]) through the end of the month. We’ll announce the winners and the Hometown Heroes at the beginning of October.
