Do you know an LGBTQ person who has made a difference in their community in the past year? Someone who is inspiring you to do better? A friend or neighbor who is changing the world?

Our annual awards program, LGBTQ Nation Heroes, honors LGBTQ people and close allies who made us proud with their good work this past year. And while voting is now open in eight categories filled with inspiring nominees picked by our editors, we need your help uncovering the amazing people we don't yet know about. 

Nominate a Hometown Hero in your life by filling out this short form before September 15. Then be sure to vote in the other Heroes categories through the end of the month. We’ll announce the winners and the Hometown Heroes at the beginning of October.
