Now that it turns out that it was an unpopular decision, he’s backtracking

It wasn’t that long ago that Governor Tim Walz was spouting about how proud he was of the “quick action” his people took to close down schools during the COVID-19 Lockdowns that he imposed.

Now that it turns out that it was an unpopular decision, he’s backtracking. During an interview at the State Fair, he was asked if he’d do ANYTHING differently with schools, and he said,

“Just to be clear, over 80% of our kids missed less than 10 days of in-class learning.”

What a LIAR! Entire school systems and multiple counties were remote-learning for entire school years. Graduations were missed, sports opportunities were ruined, and the mental health of thousands of kids was damaged.

Walz is retreating from his Pandemic record, but we can’t let the people forget!
