STATEMENTS

Trump Investigation

Investigations by the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of
Investigation culminated in an FBI raid of former President Donald Trump's

Student Loan Debt Relief

On August 25, President Biden announced his student loan debt relief plan
that will forgive $10,000 in student loan debt for people making less than
$125,000 a year and an additional $10,000 for Pell Grant recipients. He

Russia and Ukraine

Fighting within the borders of Ukraine has continued into August as the

North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)

In a primary election on August 2, Kansas voters struck down an amendment
to the Kansas Constitution that would allow laws to be passed restricting
