Team,
One of the best things about campaigning is meeting voters around the 17th District and hearing about the issues on their hearts and minds. Voters are often excited to meet a candidate in-person -- and many openly share their thoughts on some of the most pressing problems facing our communities.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had a chance to meet everyday Illinoisans across our district, and I wanted to share a few highlights of our conversations. After all, these are the people I’m running to represent.

In Freeport , Beth told me that my weather forecasts had been a “bright spot” in her days for years, and that she was excited to vote for someone who has experience informing the public about matters that affect them directly.
In Galva , I spoke to a couple who identified as Republicans, and were appreciative that I showed up in their small town to engage face-to-face with voters of all stripes. They were glad I was running because I have a track record of delivering the facts, and they wanted to see “less political nonsense and more following the facts.”

If you can, will you chip in $5 to help us communicate with voters in every way possible? Anything you give goes straight to our efforts to reach more undecided voters across IL-17. [[link removed]]
