donation of $1.6 BILLION from a single donor — a staggering amount that
will be used to fuel Republicans for years to come.

According to CNN, the donation was made to Marble Freedom Trust, a
nonprofit run by the co-chairman of the Federalist Society — a man who
held huge influence over Donald Trump's far-right Supreme Court
appointees.

John, this is
what we mean when we say establishment billionaires and right-wing super
PACs are spending record amounts to weaken our progressive movement.

This donation marks the largest single contribution of its type ever made
public, but this is only the start. Earlier this year, a new Democratic
super PAC was announced, named the "Mainstream Democrats PAC" with the
explicit purpose of defeating progressive candidates.

The GOP and far-right groups have already made it clear that they're
terrified of Cori's bold, progressive agenda, and they're prepared to
spend record amounts of money to attack Cori — and our movement. The GOP
started coming out against Cori in the Democratic primary, so we know that
they are not going to let up anytime soon.

With under 80 days until Election Day and our democracy at stake, we need
to prepare to go toe-to-toe with dark money super PACs. But we rely 100%
on grassroots donations of $5 and $10, so we
