Summers are notoriously brutal for fundraising, often called a “summer slump” when folks are out enjoying vacation time and checking their email less. At the same time, it’s a crucial period for campaigns as they plan out their final push for the fall.

And this year, we can’t afford to let our numbers slip. As we speak, Republicans are ramping up their efforts to unseat dozens of our swing seat members like Reps. Matt Cartwright, Katie Porter, Andy Kim, Susan Wild, Mike Levin, Abigail Spanberger, and many more.

We just saw how critical it is to keep our pro-environment majority in Congress. Without SEEC members keeping up the pressure, securing $369 billion in federal funding for clean energy projects would never have happened. If we fall short of our $15,000 goal, we won’t be able to provide the critical support frontline SEEC members need to protect their seats.
