Hey John – If you haven’t heard, Atlanta has a not-so-welcome visitor in town. Rudy Giuliani, former NYC mayor and buddy to Donald Trump, is testifying before a Georgia grand jury for his lies about the “stolen” 2020 election.

Let’s remember, Giuliani was one of the most vocal advocates for Donald Trump’s completely false claims about “widespread voter fraud” that occurred in the 2020 election, including here in Georgia. Despite this being debunked by state officials, him and Trump kept spreading falsehoods and rallying their far-right base, culminating in the Capitol riots on January 6th.

John, stable elections and transfer of power are the backbone of our democracy. Trump and Giuliani’s lies were a direct attack on everything we stand for – they must both be prosecuted for their actions.
