I’ve got to be blunt: Yesterday we missed our 24-hour fundraising goal.

Our goal was ambitious. We didn’t miss it by much. But we did fall short.

And this goal was an important one. With only a few days until our pre-primary FEC filing deadline, we need to show the GOP and political commentators our campaign’s strength. But we didn’t quite get there. We only made 90% of our goal. That’s why I’m asking you to rush $3 to help us get to 100% and back on track.

With just under three months left until the election, the margin of error is too slim for us to give anything less than 100%. We have a ZERO seat majority in the Senate, and I won my last race by just 1,017 votes – so missing goals, even just by a little, isn’t something we can afford to do.

You know what’s at stake, John. The progress we’ve made on climate change, health care, and the threat of a nationwide abortion ban – it’s all on the line in November.
