I’ve got to be blunt: Yesterday we missed our 24-hour fundraising goal.

Our goal was ambitious. We didn’t miss it by much. But we did fall short.

And this goal was an important one. With only a few days until our pre-primary FEC filing deadline, we need to show the GOP and political commentators our campaign’s strength. With just under three months left until the election, the margin of error is too slim for us to give anything less than 100%. We have a ZERO seat majority in the Senate, and I won my last race by just 1,017 votes – so missing goals, even just by a little, isn’t something we can afford to do.
