That's why, we selected Nutrition to be a focus area for our 2022 Solution Grants.

Kids Kickin' Cancer

Livestrong is proud to fund the Kickin’ it in the Kitchen Project, which brings young cancer patients and their families together to learn how to cook healthy meals.The program has remote reach and is 100% free to participants.
"The funding from Livestrong has allowed us to provide 100 families with six-week interactive Therapeutic Cooking Sessions, including essentials for program delivery."
Hennepin Healthcare Foundation
Hennepin's goal is to empower patients by giving them access to on-staff registered dietitians. These RDs help food-insecure patients learn to plan meals on a budget and purchase culturally specific healthy foods.
"The grant will have an immediate impact by providing food security through grocery delivery to high-risk patients. By providing groceries, we help overcome barriers to achieving wellness such as transportation, financial toxicity and nutritional education."
