Addressing Serious Voting Rights Issues Nationwide
Discrimination polls still exists and our growing communities face challenges with access to the ballot box. Help Us Continue to Advocate for Our Communities
Through our legal advocacy program, Advancing Justice | AAJC influences key civil rights issues that have significant impact on Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, and immigrant communities, both in the courts and through technical assistance for our Community Partners. We pursue impact litigation in federal courts, file amicus briefs, including in cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, and engage with the broader racial and social justice coalition to advance key issues creatively. Our goal is to continue to build on this work in the next year, and we graciously ask for your help! ** Support our litigation campaign. ([link removed])

Holiday Season Tips
Protect Yourself and Loved Ones From Gift Card Scams
As we approach the holiday season, we want to bring attention to the dangers of gift card scams and lift up how our communities can identify and protect themselves against such fraud. Bad actors may target our communities for fraud through phone, email, in-person engagement, or online activities. Last year, AARP released survey findings that showed 72% of Asian American elders and their families were targeted by fraud. We wanted to share Google’s PSA on identifying and protecting yourself against gift card scams. Because Google Play gift cards are so easy to use, some bad actors request them as an alternative payment method in sophisticated scam scenarios.
