Have you been keeping up with Team Larson’s emails? Today is the 87th anniversary of Social Security!

Today, more than 65 million Americans benefit from the program, but Social Security is in trouble . Despite more than half of today’s retirees being dependent on Social Security as a steady source of income, Republicans like Rick Scott plan to gut the program or even cut it altogether.

And it never stops: Most recently, Wisconsin-Republican Ron Johnson called to put Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block every year.

Here at Larson HQ, we hope to celebrate Social Security’s anniversary for years to come, but we need your help.
