assessing the needs of the community and providing urgent assistance to animals impacted by this natural disaster.
We are collaborating with local agencies to provide supplies and pet food across four counties, conduct searches for stranded animals, and organize three immediate transports for homeless animals from local shelters.

Relocating adoptable animals from local shelters is a critical part of our disaster response operation. By transporting them safely to our shelter partners in the Northeast, we are getting these animals out of impacted communities and helping local shelters make room for animals displaced by the floods during a time when community need is high.

Across the country, homeless animals and people have been left vulnerable during extreme weather and disaster, and we stand ready to respond at a moment’s notice. While we continue to assess the needs in Kentucky and provide disaster relief, please make a lifesaving gift to support all of our efforts to protect our nation’s most vulnerable animals.
Your gift will help our continued work in disaster relief and allows us to deploy nationwide to be there for those in need.
