We are collaborating with local agencies to provide supplies and pet food across four counties, conduct searches for stranded animals, and organize three immediate transports for homeless animals from local shelters.
Relocating adoptable animals from local shelters is a critical part of our disaster response operation. By transporting them safely to our shelter partners in the Northeast, we are getting these animals out of impacted communities and helping local shelters make room for animals displaced by the floods during a time when community need is high.
