The Telegraph: Pappas votes to reinstate federal assault weapon ban

Team,

The senseless gun violence across our country has taken the lives of far too many, and it's clear that now is the time to act.

Chris was proud to join a bipartisan majority last week to pass the Assault Weapons Ban Act of 2022 because getting dangerous, military-style weapons off our streets is common sense.

Reinstating this ban would halt the sale, import, manufacture, or transfer of certain semi-automatic weapons. This will save lives and significantly promote public safety

Chris rejects the notion that we are powerless in the fight to pass common sense gun safety legislation. Ensuring that weapons that are capable of mass destruction stay out of the hands of civilians is a necessary first step in combating the devastating rise of gun violence we've seen in our country.

Chris and the House took action. Now we need the Senate to act. If you support reinstating the federal assault weapons ban, join Chris by adding your name to the petition >> [link removed]
