There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you for a long time.

I don’t know how to say it — so I’m just going to blurt it out.

I’m a vegan.

I choose this lifestyle because I care about animals, the environment, and frankly, it just makes me happy. My personal dietary choices are for me and me only.

If you love burgers or pizza, I wish you nothing but joy. All of my friends eat meat and I’m in no place to judge someone else!

Look, I know there are lots of “vegan jokes” out there — but I’m proud to be vegan. I promise never to compromise who I am for politics.

We need more politicians like that in D.C., John. Too often, our elected officials try to hide parts of themselves in order to get elected. Well, I’m not hiding anything.

I’m a former comedian, viral campaign video producer, and a vegan — and I’m running to win one of the most important seats in the entire country. We can win Florida’s 15th District, but only if we nominate a different kind of candidate.

The August 23rd primary is just weeks away and this vegan, millennial candidate is asking for your support.
