Every other year, the Democratic Party of Oregon selects an outstanding Democrat who has done exemplary work in organizing and activism in communities in rural Oregon.
We hope you can join us on Saturday, August 6th, at 7:00pm to celebrate Jamie McLeod-Skinner as this year's winner of the Award for Excellence in Rural Organizing.

Organizing in Rural Communities, like so many of our communities, takes continued and sustained investment in building real relationships and connecting with voters in authentic ways.
For years, Jamie has partnered with County Democratic Parties, partner organizations, and has built a coalition that not only helped her win her May 2022 Primary, but also has helped in previous elections to flip school board races, city council seats, and other down-ballot elections in Central, Eastern, and Southern Oregon communities that many Democrats thought weren't "winnable".
We couldn't be more proud to award Jamie this Saturday, and to send her to Congress in November!
