Tell your Senator to vote “YES” on the appropriations bill and prioritize global health funding

Friends:

The Senate Appropriations Committee just released its spending package. Importantly, it matches the global health advocacy community’s requests for increased global health funding for HIV, TB, and malaria.

However, our action is still needed.

Current proposals supported by the House indicate increased support for global health programs, but we must urge the Senate to maintain these funding requests in the final package for these proposals to become a reality.

Increasing investments in these programs will allow caregivers around the world to scale up health system strengthening and care delivery. This means more prevention of HIV, TB, and malaria, more maternal and child health programs, and more treatment for non-communicable diseases.

This is an opportunity to make real lifesaving progress.

Help advance the right to health globally by fighting for this funding. It takes one minute to make your voice heard, and PIH.org has a form that makes it easier than ever >> [[link removed]]
