The Senate Appropriations Committee just released its spending package. Importantly, it matches the global health advocacy community’s requests for increased global health funding for HIV, TB, and malaria.
Increasing investments in these programs will allow caregivers around the world to scale up health system strengthening and care delivery. This means more prevention of HIV, TB, and malaria, more maternal and child health programs, and moretreatment for non-communicable diseases.
This is an opportunity to make real lifesaving progress.
