Mid-Term Elections Are Only 100 Days Away!

In just over three-months time, voters will head to the polls to give elected officials their annual report cards. If recent headlines are any indication, many office holders are going to receive failing grades.

While members of Congress currently enjoy protection from term limits, elections are the only method we have to send poor performing representatives packing. With just 100 days to go, it’s time for a full-court press of campaign activity!

This weekend hundreds of volunteers will fan out across District 1, going door-to-door in support of the full slate of Republican candidates. We know of efforts in York, Cumberland and Kennebec Counties on both Saturday and Sunday. There are sure to be more groups than we know about!

Every day is a good day to write a letter-to-the-editor of your local paper! Let your community know you support Ed Thelander for Congress. Tell them how the current representation has led to record high inflation, sky-rocketing fuel and oil prices, increasing crime, and a porous southern border. The general decline in the American standard of living in the 19 months of this administration is stunning in its speed and severity!
