In just over three-months time, voters will head to the polls to give elected officials their annual report cards. If recent headlines are any indication, many office holders are going to receive failing grades.
While members of Congress currently enjoy protection from term limits, elections are the only method we have to send poor performing representatives packing. With just 100 days to go, it’s time for a full-court press of campaign activity!
This weekend hundreds of volunteers will fan out across District 1, going door-to-door in support of the full slate of Republican candidates. We know of efforts in York, Cumberland and Kennebec Counties on both Saturday and Sunday. There are sure to be more groups than we know about!
