This week Denise Octavia Smith MBA, BS, CHW, PN, SFC ([link removed]) , Vaccine Equity Cooperative founding member and executive director of the National Association of Community Health Workers, spoke at the White House Summit on the Future of COVID-19 Vaccines ([link removed]) on advancing vaccine equity. She advocated for a hyper-local, community-driven approach that prioritizes, includes and pays the community-based workforces and organizations doing the work on the ground. This equity-driven approach over the past two years has been integral in keeping our most vulnerable communities prepared. As we enter another COVID-19 wave, check out the resources below to help make sure your community has access to the information and tools needed to keep them safe:
* Order free COVID-19 tests ([link removed]) from the federal government's at home testing distribution program and get answers to the top testing questions ([link removed])
* Encourage community members to stay up to date on vaccines and schedule available booster shots ([link removed])
