New York Times Headline: Misery Spreads as Nearly a Third of the U.S Faces Excessive Heat

Folks, climate change is no longer an imminent threat. It’s here.

As each year goes by, temperatures continue to rise, and according to the New York Times , nearly a third of the country is currently facing excessive heat, further endangering American lives.

But it’s not just our health. Here’s what Rep. Katie Porter (CA-47) said about the wider threat of climate change:
