First → federal judges found that Alabama’s congressional map was gerrymandered by Republicans and threw it out.

Then → the U.S. Supreme Court reinstated the map, claiming that it was too close to the election to change it.

Now → the six conservative justices could use this gerrymandering case to GUT what’s left of the Voting Rights Act.

Politico: “The Supreme Court has chipped away at the Voting Rights Act for 9 years. The diminished Voting Rights Act has already played a key role in the 2022 elections via redistricting.”

The time to protect voting rights is now.
