I wanted to reach out as soon as possible. Right now, our state legislators are coming to Columbia to continue their special session to enact a total abortion ban in South Carolina with NO exceptions in the case of rape, incest, or the woman’s life being in danger.
Instead of progress, we are moving backwards. And my MAGA opponent, Nancy Mace, supports our state legislators getting to decide what South Carolinians do with their bodies.
As a doctor, I can tell you just how dangerous this push to limit reproductive healthcare is — it’s life or death.
We shouldn’t have a representative in Congress who is for measures like this one. We need a leader who will protect our rights, not cut them down. We have to win in districts like this one to expand our majority and protect our reproductive healthcare.

As a physician, I cannot in good conscience support a policy that puts women’s lives in danger, especially the most vulnerable women in society.
I know how horrible it is for a patient when they can’t make their own medical decisions.
Nancy Mace has shown time and time again that she doesn’t care what happens to people in our district.
She’s happy for life to start at conception and end at a mass shooting.
