Colorado could decide who controls Congress. John, When Colorado’s 7th District seat held by Ed Perlmutter was redrawn, we weren’t too alarmed by the changes. After all, Ed had won his last several elections by double-digits. Plus, with Brittany Pettersen as the Democratic nominee, it seemed like a slam dunk. But as Republicans feel more bullish about their prospects this November, Colorado’s 7th District is now part of the GOP plan to take control of the U.S. House. With abortion access, additional gun reforms, and climate change hanging in the balance, we absolutely can’t let that happen. That’s why the Colorado Turnout Project is activating young voters in every zip code of the state, partnering with RideShare2Vote and other progressive grassroots organizations. With so many statewide elections this year in Colorado, Congressional candidates like Brittany Pettersen in the 7th and Dr. Yadira Caraveo in the neighboring 8th cannot depend on the Democratic Party establishment to get them through. If we’re going to keep Kevin McCarthy out of the Speaker’s chair and send two incredibly smart, brave, and community-grounded women to Congress from Colorado this November, the Colorado Turnout Project needs strong financial support: If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: Express Donate: $15 Express Donate: $25 Express Donate: $50 Express Donate: $100 Express Donate: $250 Express Donate: $500 Or, donate another amount Your donation will help us identify and persuade young voters, fund statewide GOTV efforts, hold off the Republican offensive, and keep our precious state of Colorado blue.
