Friends,
In recent weeks, the world has witnessed the devastating effects of gun violence, pushing the need for bold action. On Monday, we reached a pivotal milestone as we joined community leaders, elected officials, survivors, and advocates at the White House to celebrate the passing of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act [[link removed]] !
Since 2016, we have been dedicated to empowering those living closest to pain. We were proud to stand with the families, survivors, and communities shaken by gun violence and targeted acts of hate. Survivors and families from Buffalo, Uvalde, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and cities across the country attended to celebrate the significance of the first bill passed to address gun violence in nearly 30 years.

Where so many have fallen short, we applaud the dedication of allied leaders and the Biden-Administration for supporting the voices of Black and Brown communities by taking this major step to reduce violence.
This moment further proves that our work is not in vain. Community Justice continues to lead and uplift by changing the conversation, amplifying voices and building safer communities through change. We know there is much more work to do, so stay in the fight with us!
We deeply appreciate your support that has helped us reach this historic day.
