It’s Charlie Crist. This year, I’m running to be Florida’s next governor — which means I’m also leaving my current job as the U.S. representative for Florida’s 13th District.

As I made this decision, I was reminded of my first time running to represent Pinellas County. We were up against a Republican incumbent, and we succeeded in flipping this seat blue through hard work, connecting with our community, and leading with respect.

This midterm election, we are up against a tide of Republicans trying to take away that success. It won’t be an easy fight, so we need a proven leader to take on this race. That's why I am proud to endorse Eric Lynn, the Democratic nominee for the 13th District.
