We can stop them with high turnout. Here's how: John, Colorado Newsline reported recently on the politics of state and local races in Colorado, and the headline perfectly captures the urgency of the moment we are in: That According to the article, "Republicans see an opportunity to regain control of the [state] Senate. Local and state legislative races are usually not very sexy...but these are the races that are now taking on an outsized importance following the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade. States are, until conservatives seek to implement federal mandates preventing interstate abortion access, empowered to regulate abortion almost entirely now.
