John,

Colorado Newsline reported recently on the politics of state and local races in Colorado, and the headline perfectly captures the urgency of the moment we are in:
That According to the article, "Republicans see an opportunity to regain control of the [state] Senate. They would need to flip only three seats, and, at a time of high inflation and other societal challenges, they think they can do it."

Local and state legislative races are usually not very sexy...but these are the races that are now taking on an outsized importance following the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade. States are, until conservatives seek to implement federal mandates preventing interstate abortion access, empowered to regulate abortion almost entirely now.

Our focus right now needs to be on making sure every voter who is angry, freaked out, and alarmed by the authoritarian slide of the Republican Party shows up to vote this year. We are investing in the outreach and the ground game, but we need your help to reach more voters and fight for every vote available:

Thank you for doing what you can to support our voter turnout efforts in Colorado. We have so many crucial races at play this year—we cannot afford to lose.
