We’ll get right to the point, John: We need to know that you’re still with us in our fight to protect democracy and our fundamental rights – no matter what SCOTUS does. Will you donate to the NDRC now to support our work?

Attorney General Eric Holder recently said “the Supreme Court was broken long before” the decision overturning Roe v. Wade – and he’s absolutely right.

So where does that leave us? The way we see it, there are two options:

Option 1: Give up.

We assume that with the Supreme Court under the control of a far-right majority, nothing we do will be effective. The GOP immediately takes advantage of our lack of fight and is able to hang on to their gerrymandered maps, reelect map manipulators, and elect judges who they believe will rubber stamp gerrymandered maps. Our democracy is weakened even further.

Don’t take Option 1, John – rush a donation now to show that you’re staying in the fight.

Option 2: Keep fighting for our democracy – no matter what obstacles we face.

The NDRC keeps working with our affiliates in courts, in the states, and at the ballot box to protect the right to vote and to have every vote count equally. We build on our wins to make redistricting even more fair, now and in the future. We return the power to the people, where it should be, and take it away from extremist politicians.

Here at the NDRC, we’re taking Option 2. Will you join us with an urgent donation?

John, what happens to our country depends on which of these two options you choose.

We know you’re a fighter – so will you pitch in now to help the NDRC continue doing whatever it takes to defend our democracy?
