Attorney General Eric Holder recently said “the Supreme Court was broken long before” the decision overturning Roe v. Wade – and he’s absolutely right.
So where does that leave us? The way we see it, there are two options:
| Option 1: Give up. |
| We assume that with the Supreme Court under the control of a far-right majority, nothing we do will be effective. The GOP immediately takes advantage of our lack of fight and is able to hang on to their gerrymandered maps, reelect map manipulators, and elect judges who they believe will rubber stamp gerrymandered maps. Our democracy is weakened even further. |
