The coordinated attack on abortion access in America is a public health
crisis and we must use every federal tool available to confront it.

On Friday, President Biden heeded our calls to take executive action to
expand access to medication abortion and protect those seeking care from
criminalization.

Our movement has been calling for these measures, which will help many
access the safe and legal abortion care they need and deserve — but we
cannot stop here.

That’s why I’m urging President Biden to build on this first step by
declaring a public health emergency to unlock critical flexibilities and
resources to address this public health crisis.
