I want to thank everyone who came out to our Veterans town hall this week! A HUGE special thanks to the Disabled American Veterans of FishHawk and the Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs who came to make sure that every Vet who showed up left with a challenge coin, and more importantly, the resources and contacts they need to access their earned benefits.

As the Vice-Chairman of the bipartisan Veterans' Caucus, I wanted to take the opportunity at this event for our Veterans to share some of our successes directly with them and their families.

they

our
state.

state

for
our
active-duty
troops,
first

teachers.

for
Veteran
support
organizations
and
causes
including
the
suicide
hotline,
training
schools,
and
homelessness
initiatives.



And thanks to YOU, we made sure every Veteran in HD-69 knew about it! We sent calls/texts and follow-ups to EVERY Veteran in the district inviting them to the event and informing them about our successes.
