As a former educator, I know first hand that this is absolutely unacceptable. That is why Colorado Democrats are working night and day to remedy this. Just last year, the Treasury financed $645 million in grants to K-12 schools to support our teachers and students while stimulating local economies.
But now, Colorado Republicans are threatening to block our progress. Many Republicans are even calling to eliminate the Department of Education. [[link removed]]
