According to the National Education Association, Colorado ranks 49th in starting Teacher salaries.

As a former educator, I know first hand that this is absolutely unacceptable. That is why Colorado Democrats are working night and day to remedy this. Just last year, the Treasury financed $645 million in grants to K-12 schools to support our teachers and students while stimulating local economies.

But now, Colorado Republicans are threatening to block our progress. Many Republicans are even calling to eliminate the Department of Education. 

With your help, we will beat Republicans in November and prevent them from blocking our progress. 

There is too much at stake this November. From education, to reproductive rights, to building an economy that works for all - our only chance for progress is to beat Republicans in the fall.
