I hope you are enjoying our Independence Day with family and friends.

There’s a lot to think about this Fourth of July, and I’m reflecting on where our nation stands today.

In the aftermath of the overturning of Roe v. Wade , revelations from the January 6th insurrection, and so much more, it’s been a difficult few weeks.

But friend, I have reason to be hopeful. I know so many of us are committed to bettering this country for all of our communities, and for future generations.

So as we pass through a dark moment in our history, I hope you will stand with me and work toward a better future.

I’ll never stop standing up for what’s right.
