I hope you are enjoying our Independence Day with family and friends.

There’s a lot to think about this Fourth of July, and I’m reflecting on where our nation stands today.

In the aftermath of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, revelations from the January 6th insurrection, and so much more, it’s been a difficult few weeks.

But friend, I have reason to be hopeful. I know so many of us are committed to bettering this country for all of our communities, and for future generations.

So as we pass through a dark moment in our history, I hope you will stand with me and work toward a better future.

I’ll never stop standing up for what’s right.
