Happy Fourth of July from the Hood household!

We love using the Fourth of July to spend time together as a family and to
express our unabashed love for the beauty of this country and the resilience of
all Americans.

True patriotism is much more than just waving a flag around and drinking a
Budweiser on the Fourth of July.

Patriotism means loving your country enough to challenge the status quo and
fight for a better future. Despite what many in DC believe, there is nothing
patriotic about maintaining the systems in America that oppress working-class
Americans and continue to elevate the ultra-wealthy. On the Fourth of July, we
celebrate our nation and remain committed to holding the powerful accountable
and demanding better, fairer and more just systems.

We need politicians bold enough to demand change and progress. Will you chip
in $17.76 to Sarah’s campaign and celebrate the fourth by fighting for an
America where everyone gets a chance to thrive.
