True patriotism is much more than just waving a flag around and drinking a Budweiser on the Fourth of July.
Patriotism means loving your country enough to challenge the status quo and fight for a better future. Despite what many in DC believe, there is nothing patriotic about maintaining the systems in America that oppress working-class Americans and continue to elevate the ultra-wealthy. On the Fourth of July, we celebrate our nation and remain committed to holding the powerful accountable and demanding better, fairer and more just systems.
