The Supreme Court just ruled to gut the Environmental Protection Agency’s ability to go after polluters and address the climate crisis.

In yet another radical, detrimental decision, the Supreme Court today sharply limited the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) authority to use the Clean Air Act to reduce carbon pollution.

That means the EPA will be severely hampered in enacting and enforcing greenhouse gas emission regulations – a major blow to the most powerful tool President Biden has to combat climate change.

That means until we are able to rebalance our judiciary, the primary way to reverse the Court’s regressive ruling is by holding and expanding our Democratic majorities.

Now, more than ever, we need environmental champions like Maria in the Senate. Fighters with a proven track record passing clean energy incentives and pushing back on Big Oil who will never give up.
