I’m not just writing as the Chair of Trevor’s Board but also as a gay, Mexican-American woman who grew up in a Catholic family in Texas. As a teenager, I struggled — trying to find my place in a society that didn’t reflect who I was on the outside or inside.

All month long, Trevor has shared “Stories of Pride” and I’m telling you mine today because I never want an LGBTQ young person to struggle.
