SCOTUS Ruling--What Do We Do NOW?

Dear John,
The Supreme Court has struck down Roe. It’s the worst day for abortion rights we’ve ever seen.
Immediately, states will enact their own abortion bans, with “trigger laws” set to take effect in 13 states to ban all or some abortions now that the Court has ruled, and thirteen more in the wings.
The Supreme Court has voted to take away women’s bodily autonomy—but they won’t stop there. Will you help NOW fight back—for abortion rights and all the other rights that are now under threat?

The Supreme Court’s ruling implies that marriage equality, LGBTQIA+ equality, even contraception could be the next target. All those rights are now hanging by the narrowest threads, with a Supreme Court dominated by an ultra-conservative majority.
Republican presidents picked six out of the nine justices, and each of them testified that Roe was “settled law,” and “a precedent.” Now we know those words were hollow.
Will you help NOW do what we do best in response to this horrific ruling? We’ll need every ounce of our grassroots strength to protect the rights that the Supreme Court wants to take away.
We can do that this November!
NOW made history when we brought millions to Washington to March for Women’s Lives. In 2022, we must Vote for Women’s Lives.
I know that there are enough feminist voters in key states and districts to surprise the pundits and break turnout predictions—don’t you?
Will you help us make history again this November by making a generous donation to NOW today?

We are horrified today by the Supreme Court’s ruling—but our determination and resolve are stronger than ever.
NOW must be just as strong.
In solidarity,
Christian F. Nunes
