"Everyone's invited." That's been my campaign slogan from day one. And I mean it: On this team, every voice matters. Every person deserves to feel like someone has their back.
But I've got to confess: I have a short list of who's not welcome on this team, and I'm strict about it. I don't take a dime from federal lobbyists or corporate PACs, because they should never have been invited into our politics in the first place.
I represent you, and I can work toward bipartisan solutions – like commonsense gun reforms – because special interests aren't pulling the purse strings.
Our FEC fundraising deadline is approaching fast, and I'm counting on your support as we head into the heat of the election cycle. Please chip in before our official end-of-quarter deadline, midnight Thursday, to help us reach our $30,000 goal:

If the dark money groups looking to flip this seat get wind that our fundraising numbers are flagging, they will flood our district with negative ads, trying to replace me with a Republican who will go along with their extreme agenda.
So as we approach this crucial FEC fundraising deadline, we need to show our opponent – and the national Republicans backing him up – that we're a force to be reckoned with.
I'll level with you: Right now, our fundraising numbers are not where they need to be. But if everyone on this team chips in $5 before June 30, we'll be on track to finish strong. Let's prove that shady dark money has no place in our district – or in Washington.
