But I've got to confess: I have a short list of who's not welcome on this team, and I'm strict about it. I don't take a dime from federal lobbyists or corporate PACs, because they should never have been invited into our politics in the first place.

I represent you, and I can work toward bipartisan solutions – like commonsense gun reforms – because special interests aren't pulling the purse strings.

So as we approach this crucial FEC fundraising deadline, we need to show our opponent – and the national Republicans backing him up – that we're a force to be reckoned with.

I'll level with you: Right now, our fundraising numbers are not where they need to be. But if everyone on this team chips in $5 before June 30, we'll be on track to finish strong. Let's prove that shady dark money has no place in our district – or in Washington.
