We’ve made huge strides in battling the AIDS epidemic,
team, but the fight is ongoing. In
recognition of World Aids Day this week, it’s vital that we take
a moment to reflect on where we have been, AND to make sure we
have the resources to combat this ongoing epidemic effectively.

We must fight for universal access to healthcare, PEP &
PrEP, which are medications that help prevent HIV, and increased
funding for The Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS Act
(HOPWA) and the Ryan White Act. We can’t end the epidemic until
everyone has access to the programs and services they need.
