We’ve made huge strides in battling the AIDS epidemic, team, but the fight is ongoing. In recognition of World Aids Day this week, it’s vital that we take a moment to reflect on where we have been, AND to make sure we have the resources to combat this ongoing epidemic effectively.

But I need your help to make this issue a priority. Can you add your name and stand with me as I fight to make sure Congress passes critical legislation that support Americans living with AIDS?

We must fight for universal access to healthcare, PEP & PrEP, which are medications that help prevent HIV, and increased funding for The Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS Act (HOPWA) and the Ryan White Act. We can’t end the epidemic until everyone has access to the programs and services they need.

We all have a part to play in combating this epidemic — do yours right now by adding your name.

It is not acceptable to simply offer words of support — not when people’s health, livelihood, and well-being are on the line. I am proud to have been a longtime leader in the fight for critical investments in housing, health care, and medical research — so that Americans living with AIDS have the tools and assistance they need and deserve.
