Sunday is a critical day for our ongoing work together. We will be holding our general election kickoff and I would love if you joined me for an event you won't want to miss:

We will be hearing from grassroots leaders on the issues that led me to run for the County Board: affordable housing, inclusive economic growth, climate change, education, and hunger. We will also be talking about racial equity and justice and our continuing response to COVID.

Several community leaders and I will be laying out the vision and priorities I will pursue if I have the honor of being re-elected. We will do so in Barcroft, the neighborhood that includes one of the steps I am most proud of from the last four years--preserving over 1300 affordable apartments for low-income Arlington families.

After Tuesday's filing deadline, we now have two general election opponents. I take both of them seriously and am working my heart out for the progressive ideas we share. Having you join me this coming Sunday would mean a lot to me personally and be a big contribution to the campaign we must build together:
