As inflation and higher prices continue to be the central concern for families across the country, New Jersey Democrats have been working to keep more of people’s hard earned money in their pockets. We know and understand that things have not been easy, which is why our Governor and Democrats in the Legislature have been prioritizing the current needs of New Jersey families. As the costs of basic goods continue to rise, we will continue to directly address those cost burdens where we can and this tax holiday will cut the costs on the most essential items needed for educational success .
Alongside the newly expanded ANCHOR tax relief program [[link removed]] , Democrats in New Jersey have made giving money directly back to the taxpayers, at a time when it is needed most, our central concern and will continue to make providing relief to all New Jerseyans a top priority.
